"The room was very nice and clean; staff were helpful as well. The owner actually helped troubleshoot my electric stove from Prague over video chat, that was cool of him to do that. This was a great stay. However, it felt like a couple's retreat and as a solo traveler it was A. Tad discouraging at times as I was there for 8 days; though perhaps a lack of research on my part. That aside, this place was pretty awesome and close to a local well-pressed grocery store. I would definitely stay here...

"We had a wonderful stay at the beach bungalows during our honeymoon! The grounds are beautiful, quiet and peaceful, all while being in a great area to walk anywhere in Tamarindo. We felt well taken care of by the staff and really felt like it was our only little world away from the chaos. We even got a special little message in our bungalow for our honeymoon which was such a nice personal touch. We had wonderful neighbours while staying. We can’t wait to come back and hopefully with our friends...

"Hotel El Manglar is maybe my most favorite hotel EVER! The grounds are beautiful!! The staff is so kind and helpful. Dylan and Georgia at the front desk were just incredible! The beach is stunning and the private path to the beach is magical! Our villa was comfortable and very clean. It had a king size bed, large shower, nice little kitchen and sitting area. "Le propriétaire (Christian) est super sympathique. L'endroit est conviviale, chaleureux et accueillant. Les chambres sont convenables et confortables. Les deux seules lacunes sont le manque d'insonorisation entre les unités et l'eau chaude manquante. "Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Zimmer mit Meerblick. Es war geräumig, es gab jeden Tag frische Handtücher (was gar nicht notwendig war) einzig hätte es sauberer sein können. Mit dem Nachfüllen der KaffeeKapseln hat es nicht wirklich geklappt. Wir mussten dies mehrmals reklamieren. Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen.
