"This was our second year coming to the Rip Jack villas and it was an excellent stay. Hotel staff was very kind and courteous. Rooms were clean and kept clean daily. The food in the hotel was delicious; we’re still debating who among us had the best meals. This year we traveled with a larger group and everyone had a great time. We will definitely be back next year!"

"Great beach. Coarse shell sand but still ok on bare feet. Not overly busy and right off the resort. Waves not really big enough to boogie board on but good for smaller kids to play. Pool is very nice with lots of lounging areas. Entertainment area with pool tables, ping pong and fooseball - great for kids/teens. Spacious and quiet rooms with great amenities. Animals on the resort are a highlight (iguanas, monkeys, raccoons). Food was excellent with nice variety and good quality. Staff was helpful and friendly. No complaints other than our check in was very slow."

"We had such an amazing stay at Villas Kalei in Playa Grande, CR 🌴✨ If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, this is the place. The views are absolutely stunning, and it’s just a short distance to the beach, perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. The whole atmosphere is so tranquil, we didn’t want to leave. The villa itself was incredibly clean, spacious, and had everything we needed to truly relax and enjoy the pura vida lifestyle Costa Rica is known for. It felt like a home away from home, but with even better views. The owners, Marcos and Jeisha, were so friendly and welcoming. They really made our stay special with their kindness and thoughtful recommendations. One of our favorites was Restaurante La Estrella, Huacas (about 20 minutes away). We had one of the best ribeye steaks we’ve ever had away from home! Thank you, Marcos and Jeisha, for creating such a beautiful and relaxing place we’re so grateful for your hospitality and hope to be back 💛 We’re already wishing we could return to Playa Grande. "This was my second time staying here. The ocean front rooms are way nicer and more modern than the other rooms. The owner is the same as the Diria next door, where you’ll be having your breakfast. Listen, for the price, just stay at the Diria, you’ll be spending maybe 80 bucks more and it’s got all the amenities you’ll need like pools, bars, restaurants, etc. The Perla is nice and low key, but too expensive for just offering oceanfront and free breakfast. "
