"Room #8 must have been vacant for awhile and it was extremely hot for about 12 hours. The air conditioner did its job though. The room was incredibly clean and kept clean by the staff. Only a few employees had good English so communication was hit & miss. Location is fabulous and the views spectacular."

"Na Balam is a lush oasis in the heat of the day. We stayed three nights in a ground level room with two double beds and a twin sized couch. There was also a couch on the porch which was an excellent reading nook/porch hangout. The service was great—adored the hotel staff. Na Balam isn’t beach front. The sister property across the street is and you go through it to get to the beach. It’s about a 90 second walk. The breakfast is pretty good. They give you coffee, half of a homemade English muffin (excellent), avocado (winning), eggs (meh), yogurt and homemade granola (excellent), and toast (dried out), fruit, and juice (cantaloupe juice was great, orange was watery but good). The breakfast service is very slow, so plan for that. You have a view of gorgeous beach calling to you from the dining room. We had aguachile and some of the best to the restaurant for aguachile and drinks later in the afternoon and"

"This place was so perfect!!! The breakfast was included and filling. You got plenty but if you want variety they have that as well. The loungers were comfy and plenty of them. The pool was a perfect cool dip after a hot beach day. Staff was friendly and helpful. Gorgeous views of the sunset!!! Best Playa Norte location in my humble opinion!! The room was large with excellent AC and wifi. I'm getting over a health concern so being close to everything and no stairs was a bonus!! We had a ground level room...so easy to grab some wine and see the sunset!! Lol Good size smart TV, mini fridge and nespresso maker...I brought extra pods!! They supply water daily. I can't say enough about this place...just book it!! Enjoy!!!"
