"We enjoyed our stay at Bella Mar! We stayed in room #1 by the pool. The AC was cold and the room was clean. The views are beautiful. "For the last 25 years, I’ve always thought about staying here and never got around to it. This trip I stayed there for four nights. My room overlooked the ocean and with the balconydoors open I could hear the waves almost coming into my room. Each balcony is equipped with a hammock to lay and just enjoy the sound of the ocean and the breeze. Wonderful sunrise. The hotel is several blocks straight up from the ferry. It is very close to a number of hotels. It has a small private pool, which was well maintained. The place is very clean limits, towels, soap, etc. are provided, but the old lady is beginning to sort of show her age but still I would highly recommend the state of just for the view and the sounds. I found the staff to be quite helpful in that morning cup of coffee downstairs was well appreciated."

"Wonderful Stay at ICACO – Highly Recommend! We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The room was exactly as advertised: beautiful and featuring a wonderful view of the ocean. I especially loved the rooftop feature. The pool was a bit too hot to enjoy during the peak of the day, but it was still incredibly nice to sit in once the sun went down. The included breakfast was amazing and left us wanting for nothing. The fruit was fresh, and it came with yogurt, toast, and a coffee maker. We specifically did not want to stay directly in town, so this location was absolutely perfect and centrally located for our needs. The manager, Jessica (I believe that was her name), was incredibly helpful. She recommended Loretta's Beach Club just a short distance away, which turned out to be a fantastic recommendation. It was nice and quiet, and we spent the whole day there. They offer free use of kayaks and cabanas, and our lunch—which included drinks and filet mignon—only cost us about $100.00. We felt it was money well spent. Our only regret is that two nights in Isla Mujeres simply wasn't enough time to see everything. Another night at ICACO would have been absolutely perfect. We will definitely be back!"
