"I would go back in a heartbeat! Con’s: Check in was weird because I booked it here on Expedia but they “upgraded” me to the newer part of the resort where my band didn’t work in any of the restaurants on that side but it got me everything in the area where I booked. Anytime I ordered a drink I’m not totally sure they understood what I was saying and just gave me what they thought I was saying. There wasn’t anything to do really after the pools closed at 8pm. They had shows like once a week so that was disappointing. Pros: we didn’t have to wait until 3 to have access to the resort just the room which was nice after a morning of traveling, our shower was flooding and they fixed it promptly, when booking excursions they were helping finding transportation, they have an app that shows you what is open when and a schedule for activities happening throughout the day, the food was great, the people were so nice! It was my first resort and worth every penny!"

"Room was clean and spacious. Resort a good fit for our party of 5. Quiet and low-key. Main restaurant was a hit or miss. Some days were great (loved the lady who served us! She's amazing!), other days very slow or forgotten drinks. Food was so-so. There was something for everyone, but some dishes weren't good. We did not like any of the red sauce for pasta - it was watery and had a weird taste. Ordered a chocolate cake and it tasted like the refrigerator it was kept in. Room service was awful. We received our food after over an hour; and things like butter, coffee sugar/creamer or pancake syrup were missing. Plates were left outside all day, even until the next day. Beach service was slow. We loved the house keeper Consuelo! She's a sweetheart. Kept our fridge stocked, and room clean. Bell boys were wonderful too. If I had to complain it would be my interaction with Oscar at the Royal Market. He was rude and condescending. I was trying to pay for my purchases and put my phone too soon to use ApplePay. He was snarky as he told me to, "wait, you need to follow the directions. Calm down, you are on vacation. I don't know why everyone is always rushing." Um, excuse me? I had 2 hungry children waiting for milk and I was working remotely. I was taken aback. The next day I went to get coffee. He ignored me while I tried to figure out the coffee machine. After 2 mins of just watching me, he tells me I need to buy a cup from him. Didn't bother to ask if I needed assistance."
