"Spacious room/living area, perfect for longer stays. Thank you for introducing us to Kyo bancha tea. We appreciated the special amenities (carbonated water, snacks) and the origami. The washer and dryer system is new to us and was challenging, even with Google translate and Lens, but we managed."

"The hotel has an excellent location steps from the Nishiki market. However, the room was quiet and the beds were firm. It was very convenient to have a washer/ dryer system in the room. The room was a bit small but functional with a microwave and mini fridge in the room. Bus and subway stations are nearby."

The location too couldn’t be any better. It is close enough to all the places you’d like to visit that’s a walking distance away, while being placed in a quieter neighborhood where you feel part of the community. "We were here as 2 friends travelling together. POSITIVES: The room was a great size (compared to some Japanese hotels) with good, customisable lighting (some hotels have had very low lighting in comparison). Had 2 variety of pillows, one with an Interesting neck support thing inbuilt, which I loved. Great location, 500m walk to nishiki markets for food . We didn’t include breakfast, but the cafe opened early (7am) she did good coffee & had a small western breakfast menu. There is a separate...

"This was a lovely hotel! Great location close to the metro and only two stops up from Kyoto Station; it’s right next to the market and a lot of shopping and restaurants. It was very easy for us to get around to all the sights we wanted to see! The room itself was huge and clean. The beds were possibly the most comfy hotel beds I’ve ever slept in. The staff were very kind and also helped me ship my luggage at the end. We would absolutely stay here again!"
