"We had an excellent stay at The Seven. The property looked recently renovated, and there’s a lovely communal sitting area. The room was very big, great facilities and very comfortable. Staff were polite and friendly and it was a 5 min walk into the centre. Added bonus of limited parking at the rear. "

"I had a lovely experience here. Starting from reception I was welcomed by Veronika a professional friendly receptionist oriented to the customer needs. The entire staff which I meted here was lovely, helpful and nice with everyone. The rooms was clean, free from odor or anything bad. The accommodation was fantastic, loads of parking spaces, restaurants close and in the hotel with very delicious meals. "It was perfect for a night or 2. I tried contacting the owner before hand to ask booking in time and how to get in but no reply so we were hanging around hoping. More communication would be great, however the rooms were small and had everything we needed. Spotlessly clean, pure white towels, clean bedding and plenty of sockets. Lovely outside seating area. Will definitely return. "

"Beautiful rooms and very friendly staff. A little gem of a hotel in the centre of Chester close to restaurants and bars. "

"WE had a brilliant short stay in Chester. We visited Liverpool by train and Nantwich by bus. The city centre and plenty of restaurants were all within a few minutes walk. The Golden Eagle was first class. The owner and staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. We are already thinking of another stay with them."
