"A perfect stay and will definitely be back. Easy check in, the rooms, 1 and 2, were fantastic and great for the dogs. The facilities in the room were everything we needed. The bar and restaurant were really well set out and the decor created a nice homely feel, very relaxing. The food was perfect, good portion sized, nicely presented and really good quality. "Great food at breakfast with a good choice. Excellent meal and reasonably priced at Nelson’s with very attentive staff. Rooms very clean, lovely bathroom products available and well stocked tea/coffee tray with hot chocolate and shortbread biscuits. Spa area great, good sized pool. Hot tub, sauna and steam room. All staff were very pleasant from reception, spa and dining room staff. A brilliant stay."

"Communication with the owner was poor, had to chase on several occasions for access arrangements etc. The heating didn't work so had to contact owner to solve issue. The bath/shower leaks onto the stairs when in use. Covers are placed over settee so you feel like you are intruding. Bins were not clean on arrival. Beds were comfy and generally if was ok for a one night stay."
