"What an absolutely INCREDIBLE stay in the most beautiful hotel in Bellagio!!! The rooms are spacious and clean with breathtaking views of Lake Como. Only a 15 minute shuttle ride from the heart of Bellagio and the ferry which you can take to Varenna, Menaggio, and other wonderful spots around the lake. HUGE shout-out to the wonderful staff, especially Madi, who made my birthday unforgettable!!! Madi took the best care of us, offering shuttle rides outside of normal hours, accommodating all of our needs and requests, and offering a warm smiling welcome each time we returned. Thank you so much, Madi, and to the entire team at Il Perlo. :) We will be back!!"

"Our stay and experience at Al Molo 5 in Vassena were simply unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality exceeded every expectation. A heartfelt thank-you to Daniel, whose customer service was nothing short of exceptional—attentive, kind, and always ready to help with a smile. We are also incredibly grateful to Daniela and the owner for the wonderful upgrade, which made our stay even more special. The rooms were chic, spotless, and beautifully designed, and waking up to the stunning view from the balcony was pure magic. The breakfast served in our room was another unforgettable touch—so thoughtful, delicious, and truly special. We are also grateful for the kind service and clear contact with Boat2Go, even though our tour couldn’t take place due to the weather. Their professionalism and care were truly appreciated. "Amazing team, the restaurants were exceptional as well as the breakfast with so many options and the rooms and attention was the best we ever had. They clean our room every two hours amazing service. Every activity you want to do on the lake they organized for you and they are very professional and communicative. The staff js friendly and make your stay memorable. The rooms are big and comfortable and brand new. We stayed for our honeymoon and can’t wait to come back. Thank you Villa Lario for making our honeymoon the best moment ever. They even plan a romantic night for us. "

"This is a precious little hotel. Everything is stellar, but we wish to acknowledge the staff in particular. Nadia, Anna, and Susanna at reception could not have been more helpful. Alfredo cheerfully hauled our luggage up and down many flights. But Andrea, the chef, was the star. Young and very talented, he is going places. His dishes were superb. Our room was interesting. The view, towards the lake, was lovely. The sink, and “periscope“ faucet dropping straight down from the ceiling, was aesthetically pleasing, but not very functional. Other than that, this hotel is perfection. We couldn’t recommend it more highly."

"The breakfast was not included in the room price. The fee was 7 Euros each. The eggs were cold. They tasted ok though. There was yogurt available & 3 types of juice and water. Cappacino was also included. There was a bowl of fresh fruit: bananas, apples, oranges and grapes. "

"The place was amazing, very friendly and helpful staff, super centrally located, with a mini mart around the corner and two excellent restaurants within a minute walk (Toto and Amblé). Nice strong hot shower, the breakfast hall makes you feel like a Medici, and the view from the roof top terrace was breathtaking. "

"Staff was wonderful! Sara and Stefania from reception both helped us when our trains were canceled last minute and we had to find rides back to the hotel and to Milan. Hotel was clean and beautiful and breakfast and spa staff were also welcoming and helpful. "

"This guest house was magical! Joseph (the proprietor) bent over backwards to make our stay wonderful-- he met us late at night to check in, made us special breakfasts for our kids, arranged a dinner reservation at an amazing restaurant, and so much more. The room was clean and the air conditioning worked great, and the location in Lierna was absolutely perfect-- a sweet little street near the main plaza and harbor. We would return in a heartbeat!"
