"Be aware the parking for this location is public parking and may not be available. If you are walking, the center of town is approximately a 20 minute walk and you share the road with vehicles. There is a walking lane, but at times there are drivers who drive close to pedestrians as well as areas where the walking lane ends. "Absolutely LOVED our stay here! The staff was very friendly, our room was great and had a really chic old money vibe. The view from the balcony was GORGEOUS!!! There was also a pool which was great for relaxing and taking a slow day. A note for those staying, the walk up to the hotel is a pretty brutal uphill climb, so keep that in mind. "We stayed in the La Vista room at Palazzo del Vicerè and absolutely loved it. The view was just as amazing as the pictures and the location was walking distance to restaurants and a boat rental (which I would highly recommend). Arianna was very attentive and helped us out all throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this location if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful stay on Lake Como."

"It is a beautiful property. We had a large room with our own terrace. It is in a more remote location. Easy to get to bus stop and ferry stop but you aren’t getting anyplace in a hurry, so if you’re looking for hustle and bustle this is not for you. But if you want a charming oasis, stay here. Get acquainted with the ferry schedules. Donatella was so helpful with anything we needed. Nice soft bed too which is not common in Europe. Thank you for a great stay."

"This property is beautiful, the view from our room was amazing. Sitting outside for breakfast and dinner and taking in the views was breathtaking. Such a romantic hotel. The rooms are a little tight and we were a bit squished with our large suitcases - this is also a common theme in many of these hotels. The staff were so helpful. "
