"We had a great time staying at this hotel. We took the bus right outside the hotel to the city center, which was so easy to get to. The rooms were nice and clean, and the view of the mountain was just amazing."

"The hotel is located on the mountain and the view of lake Lugano is spectacular. As it turns out, the rest of the experience was less so. We arrived around 10pm and by then, the kitchen was closed. "A very pleasant self-catering studio about 70 metres down the hill from the main hotel and towards the town centre. It is on the first floor of a very pretty town house, and has good enough cooking/eating equipment. There is an excellent food section in a department store further down the hill in the town centre, about 200 metres away ... if you are ok with carrying your groceries back up to the accommodation."

"The staff at this hotel were excellent. Having two pools was a bonus as you could use the indoor pool when the outdoor pool was busy. The absence of a bar was a slight disappointment and the rooms were small even by European norms. Dated TVs meant no connectivity of maps.... but who goes on holiday to watch TV? "We were very fortunate to have a room in the front with a wonderful lake view. The hotel is comfortable older property, but the room and bathroom were large and spotless. Location is excellent, right next to the bus stop close to the town. Restaurant is excellent. Only negative is the absence of a grab bar in the bathtub/shower."
