Everything is very basic and very small- room, shower area. The sink is by the room and separated by a curtain only. No space for toiletries or toothbrush. No conditioner. But its clean, in a good location and have excellent breakfast

Expensive for basic room

Basic Ibis Budget room but was quite expensive for what we got. Air conditioning is turned off at night and the room got quite stuffy so my husband went to ask for a fan but was refused and was told we should have booked a more expensive room. Location was good and Paradiso was a lovely area. Breakfast was included and it was quite tasty.

The hotel itself was great. Awesome staff. Great breakfast. The comfort level of the room needs attention, it was very hot. The AC is controlled by the hotel. There are no thermostats in the room. Other than the comfort level of the room, I loved the hotel.

Everything was great. No mini fridge in room and airco was no individual to each room, it was controlled by reception for the whole hotel, so was a bit too hot at night (due to being budget hotel)

Quaint little hotel. We only wanted to sleep and expected just a bed and bathroom which is nothing more. However, quiet place, very friendly front staff, close to the lake front and great coffee shops.

Property is what you get for what you paid. Went for a cheap option as the other ibis didn’t have room available for 3 in same room. However hindsight I would rather pay more because as much as price is cheap room isn’t convenient, very small, so with luggage’s it isn’t great. Just felt very uncomfortable, but once again for the price I suppose it isn’t bad. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Very close to Paradies station (1 stop from main station) and the lake. 30 min walk to the city centre along the shore. Dining places close by. Usual standard ibis budget furniture. Surprisingly great breakfast buffet for a budget hotel!

Good location. Room was very clean and staff were friendly. Happy stay! The only problem was that I paid CHF10.9 for the city tax as per hotel. But in my booking document I only need to pay AU12.45 for city tax plus tourism fee at the property. Ibis asked me to contact my booking agent who only said I need to pay the city tax. It was very confused me as my booking said I need to pay AU12.45 in the property but now I must pay CHF10.9 ( nearly AU20 ). My advice is if city tax needs to be paid in the property, please write in the local currency. Thanks!
