"Generally all good, except for the WiFi - which was very intermittent... On/Off/On/Off/On/Off and I had 2 usernames and passwords.
I was told it was a supplier issue, which given the WiFi works perfectly well in the reception/lobby area - doesn't strike me as true.
I think the resort needs to up its game with the WiFi equipment to the resorts and/or increase the wifi bandwidth available to guests.
Nice big, clean rooms, with balcony/chairs/table/ Good a/c, toilet, hot shower and luxury of luxuries a bath (not enough hot water for that - so used a kettle).
Very comfortable beds/pillows, 2 desks (!), walk in wardrobe, fridge. TV, not internet, but with just enough channels. Sofa. Good lighting.
Free shuttle service into town is a great feature and the pool area is rather good. Breakfast is OK for most tastes and the restaurant food is very good (recommend the cheesecakes).
Unusually for Borneo, the resort beach is pretty clean.
Overall: impressed, but fix the WiFi PDQ."
"The place was spacious! But some items are old. They need to revise the furniture and decor.
The location was very good. A lot of restaurant nearby. 1km to a shopping mall (10 min walk near dorsett)"
"The Aifa always delivers when it comes to value for money, comfort and quality. The only negative is that the breakfast is actually awful. Such a shame, but it really is that bad. The only thing that looks remotely appetising in is the plastic displays of food!!!!"
"Stayed through an extended weekend and rested well each night.
The linens were clean, though a bit rough. The a/c worked well. The bathroom had a shower stall, toilet and sink. Water pressure was good. And because the a/c worked well, it was nice to have hot showers.
There is a big bam sound when power turns on when room key is inserted. It is a rather disconcerting, and takes some getting used to.
When other guests are loud in the hallway, their voices come through clearly, but most people were courteous.
The public share spaces were clean, comfortable and well maintained. The lobby has comfy seats. There is a long table to take tea and the kitchen has many beautiful cups and mugs along with powdered tea and coffee and couple of lite snacks.
Location is super convenient. Very walkable to many places to eat and shop.
Would definitely stay again. "
"Tiara Labuan Hotel is the premier resort to stay at on Labuan. The entire property is gorgeous with a variety of gardens and restaurants. You are a 10 minute walk away from town or the Labuan War Cemetery, and just across the road is the peaceful Tiara Beach. I couldn't recommend this resort enough and can't wait to come back."
