"Best place for solo female traveller to stay if u wanna go around gion-uji-biwa area. It’s located infront of main road and it’s easy to spot the hotel. It’s also easy to bring your luggage from sanjo station. The room space is spacious and i really wanted to extend my stay for one day but i have other plans."

"Nice, friendly staff gave recommendations for local restaurants. Room and hotel are pristine and very comfortable. Great sauna / public bath area (separate for men vs women) that’s open to 1am. Only minor detractions are small/basic gym equipment where the dumbbells are a bit light, and it’s about 10-15 walk to closest metros which isn’t too far, but also not particularly close either. "
