"Our stay was great. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. It is remotely located, which was peaceful, but still very convenient to get to the subway, less than a five minute walk. The staff was helpful and courteous. The meal options were somewhat limited - best to eat while out."

"酒店位於京都白川旁，感覺恬靜，景色優美。靠近市營地下鐵東山站。步行去河原町、南禪寺、蹴上傾斜鐵道、八坂神社等景點都是十至十五分鐘左右。整間酒店光線充足，不論是大堂或房間的裝修主題都以石和木為主。職員態度有禮，由於整棟酒店只有九間房間，所以職員們應該會記住每位入住旅客的樣子。 房間很整潔簇新，可看到白川河景。移動浴室木門偶爾會有小木刺掉落，不過只是小問題。雪櫃內有Perrier礦泉水、可口可樂、SAPPORO黑啤等。浴室有一個木製大浴缸，水龍頭流出的水有浴鹽味道(?)。打開浴室木窗便是大玻璃，玻璃下半部貼上了半透明膠紙，所以看不到河景。如果走太近的話，街上的人或許會見到住客的影子。洗手盆旁邊有Laura Ashley沐浴套裝和雪肌精護膚套裝，一般酒店都不會提供這些用品。 地下大堂是前台、guest lounge和食早餐的地方。Guest lounge提供許多食物和飲品如著名的京都北山malebranche茶之菓。雖然lounge晚上十點會關閉，不過酒店附近亦有24小時營業的超市和便利店。 酒店門外馬路狹窄，但勉強可以停泊一部車輛。即使呼叫的士也沒有大問題。 "

"Everything was wonderful! Quck taxi trip to Nishiki Market. Walking distance to 711, Family Market, & Lawson. You can do laundry at the hotel or there's a laundry mat just down the street. Loved staying here."

""A"... perhaps "the" classic ryokan. Relaxed (genuine) gracefullness that is not commercial or something you can teach. It is not a material luxury experience (there are many others who fit this expectation), so much as an unintentional unmannicured view into the past of old Kyoto. Very dreamy for me at least!. It felt like returning to my granny's house in post war Setayaga. Special. There are exceptional people among the staff whose heart beats echo mine and that era."

"We had such a great stay! The hotel was located off the main streets for shopping and within walking distance of bus stops and the subway - so convenient! We loved every aspect of the stay. A beautiful lounge area in the lobby, clean rooms, and helpful service."

"We stayed at Hanare by Tokyu Stay for about 6 days. We found the property to be very nice. We love the refreshments that were offered, the breakfasts that were included even though it wasn’t onsite. The location was convenient and close to public transportation. The rooms were spacious and clean. "
