The hotel is in a great location next to a subway, however the rooms are small and dont have a Japanese style. The rooms look like they could be anywhere. They are clean and the shower was great. The service of the staff on reception was very different depending who was available at the time. This is meant to be a 4 star hotel, but has the service of a 2 star to 3 star. Some of the front staff didn’t speak basic English which is very surprising in a 4 star hotel. Also the service was lacking. Many little things were made an issue, like asking for water. Everything had a cost.
There is a cafe on site next to the front desk but the staff are quite rude as hotel guests aren’t allowed to use it, which no one tells you. I sat in the cafe for less than 10 minutes and was told that was very unusual and I should move.
The only positive of this hotel was that there were 2 members of staff who made my stay bearable and treated me with respect. They were also very helpful and polite. Without Miku and Joohoung it would have been a truly disastrous experience.
