We booked a Superior Room at hotel.
Very disappointed in the room, really dated and old, paint peeling off walls, cracked and broken tiles, aircon in room leaking onto the tiled floor, no kettle, tea, coffee or milk, bed was very old and mattress was so hard we couldn’t sleep the first night. Asked hotel could we move rooms but were advised no we could not, but they said they would change our mattress, we received a slightly better mattress the same day, BUT we would have to hire a kettle for the room as they do not come as standard in Superior Rooms and this is 50,000 rupiah per night ($5 per night to hire a kettle, not happy) also did not restock the shampoo and body wash , we had to request this from reception a few times.
Breakfast has little to no variety, very very plain, though the cooked omelette was nice the two times we had breakfast there in the week.
Hotel is in serious need of an upgrade, we will not return to the Champlung Mas in the future.
After we had booked friends and family had warned us about hotel as they had stayed in it previously and advised us to cancel and book a different place, we should have listened.
I will end my review on a plus note, the staff are all very friendly and polite which was good.
