"Wunderschöne, gemütliche und saubere Unterkunft! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war sehr ruhig und das Frühstück reichhaltig. Unser Elektroauto konnten wir unproblematisch und mit transparentem Preis laden. Die Lage ist sehr gut, da man in 5 Minuten zu Fuß in der Altstadt ist. Wir würden die Unterkunft definitiv erneut buchen."

"Lovely apartment in a historic building, ideally located just outside the city centre, but within easy walking distance of all places of interest in York. Nice touch of leaving a bottle of bubbly in the fridge - a good sign that the hosts are attentive. The apartment itself is well furnished and equipped, and really does feel like a home from home. "Excellent stay at this hotel (2 nights in July). We were especially grateful for the aircon which is far from standard in UK hotels. Everything was of standard you would expect from a property like this. Staff were impressive and the room spacious, tasteful and clean. Will be back on our next visit to the city."

"Staff were very friendly and helpful. Free parking but a little tight. Breakfast with a small fee was excellent. Sink and refrigerator were nice. 2 free water bottles. 10-15 minutes from city center. The room in the loft was not good at all. The ceiling on some parts were so short so I hit my head twice. No window. Only one small skylight"

"Only one criticism I have is about the parking .There are only 2 parking spaces at the B&B this only came to my attention when I had booked and received the welcome email/text .i was lucky while I was staying I managed to get one for the 3 days .Other than its a great place to stay very clean and well maintained ."

"The hotel is perfectly placed in the centre of York and easy to get to. The staff were lovely and were able to accommodate giving us a lower-level room, which was so helpful (especially when pregnant in a heatwave!). There were lots of options available in the mini bar as well as teas, coffees, etc. The room was very comfortable and clean - we will definitely return next time we come to York."

"We were able to get into our room early which was a bonus. Room itself was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was nice and shower was great. We opted for the included breakfast option which was really good. Hot and cold items and lots of selection. The location of the hotel was perfect for us. "We noticed that the mattress cover was not replaced with the fresh one when we got there. But the staff has helped right away. Everything was good enough for the value."
