"For the price and location for my specific need the hotel was good. The bed comfy, room clean and a nice touch with the in room welcome pack of amenities and biscuits. The only concern was a young child (the receptionists child) randomly walking in my hotel room (room 2) to use my toilet and walk out again). I laugh it off now, but was concerning at the time."

"We only stayed for 1 night with our dogs, the grounds of the hotel are stunning with lovely views. We were only given 1 bottle of water for our room, when booking I was advised the additional supplement for pets would ensure plenty water in the room, this was not the case but we had plenty with us anyway so didn't see the point in mentioning it. "Second time staying here. Everything was great. Decor is lovely giving great atmosphere. Breakfast is extensive even with the less expensive continental option. Staff are well trained and helpful. Easy walk through the park to Didsbury village and the tram station. Room isn’t air conditioned but fan provided was sufficient."

"All staff were welcoming and very friendly. Comfy bed. The room smell was too much with laundry or cleaning products that are heavy with synthetic fragrances and gave me a headache in the first hour. Less is more, not everyone can tolerate it. "

"Many of the rooms have been renovated, but the hotel appears to be going for a very minimalist approach. Our room had a bed, a slim desk with an office chair, and two small side tables, along with five hangers on a long metal bar and three small hooks for clothing. There was definitely not enough hangers or space for one person’s clothes, let alone for two people staying in the room.
