"It was overpriced facility compared to with neighbor hotels for what this hotel offered, I can’t believe a 5 star resort does not start room service until 5pm , also any kind of request from housekeepers took forever and occasionally forgotten. If you are looking for a luxury and memorable stat this facility is not for you for sure."

"My husband and I had the most incredible babymoon at Hotel Wailea! From the moment we checked in we were greeted with leis and champagne/alcohol free champagne for me! We stayed 5 glorious nights and every day we raved about the amenities, hospitality, location, and we never wanted to leave!! "Overall, the property and amenities are very nice. However, you automatically have to pay $40 per night for parking with no valet option. The parking is also very limited & not well lit at night which is concerning as a solo traveler. There also isn’t any concierge available to help with luggage."

We had a great time but if you are considering this place you need to go in with your eyes wide open. It was very pricey for how tired this unit is. It badly needs a full renovation. The tile is from the 1980's, the carpet is gross and crunchy. When we arrived late, it appeared someone had tried to break in the sliding doors and that set off numerous R&M emails...

It was nice to see the hotel encouraging guests to reuse water bottles and reduce plastic waste, both for the environment and to avoid microplastics from bottled water.
