Large and convenient to beach and shops

Really large bedrooms. Concierge was super helpful in getting the tv washer and air conditioner going. Not much of a view but large lanai and very quiet

Worked out perfect for our trip to assist a friends wedding at the Grand Wailea. I love that the 2 rooms were completely separate from each other. (kitchen and living room in between) . The only downside was that to get into the room was not clearly communicated by the reservation center, I asked the ladies onsite at the office however they do not have any power over rentals via a 3rd party. They were super helpful with what they could do but their hands are kinda tied.

Nice stay at a nice price.

We had a great stay in the Grand Champions Condos. I was there with my wife and had plenty of room in our 2 bedroom condo. The refrigerator had some bottle water and lemonades. Nice treat! We did not swim in the pools. We were not given the combination to the lock. It is a good walk to the beach. Shops at Wailea just down the street if you like shopping. Good snorkeling at Makena Landing (Turtle Town) and at the end of the road past makena. They need to give better instructions on how to get into your unit. We were with the home owner rental group, not the main office. Luckily we were able to get hold of someone by phone who had the access code for us. We like having a kitchen to cook and eat. We don't like to eat out much. Nice place for the family. We will stay again in the future. Golf is great at the gold course Wailea. Emerald course was tight and relied on shot placement. Blue course was having some work done on the course. All better golf than in Alaska this time of year(or any time).

Grand Champions Condo 181

This condo is in a great location in Wilea, near Kihei, right off the last exit of the Pilani highway, within walking distance to The Shops at Wilea and all the big posh resorts, you could walk to the beach, thought most will drive. The condo was apparently just remodeled, hi grade granite counters in kitchen and both bathrooms. The furniture was new and tasteful, not the typical old rattan crapola. Really nicely equipped with beach gear: chairs, umbrella, coolers, snorkel gear, nice new big beach towels. The kitchen was really well equipped also with new stainless appliances and everything you might need if you were interested in cooking meals in rather than dining out. Parking close to unit, two pools close to unit, and electronic keyless entry was convenient. The only negative was that the A/C unit is weak for cooling the entire unit. It was fine for just the bedroom if you closed the bedroom doors. It was really hot and muggy during our stay in late August, so maybe during other months it would be ok. I would return to rent this condo again in a heartbeat, we had a very positive experience and highly recommend.!

Grand Champion Wailea #33 via Maui Home and Condo

We got unit #33 at the Grand Champions Wailea through a package deal with Expedia. The unit was clean and functional. From a practical standpoint, it served us well. As far as aesthetics go, it was not much to get excited about, with older bathrooms and kitchens (though these were fine with us). The view was a few plants and trees between us and the parking lot. Inside, it was sparsely decorated, bordering on “stark”. Location was decent, being a moderate walk to nice South Maui beaches. The biggest disappointment was the misinformation given by Maui Condo and Home in their “Welcome Packet”. The packet gave us a lock box combination, but the key inside the lock box was useless, because the unit now has key-less entry via a secret code (different from the lock box combo), which they did not give us. Also, the Welcome Packet instructed us that there is “no assigned parking”, which was also incorrect, and resulted in us getting a knock on our door on our first night after we’d gone to bed, with a perturbed neighbor informing us that we were parked in her spot.

Nice comfortable family condo

We were pleased the that condo was very roomy, clean and nice. Beautiful gardens were maintained, and there was color and flowers everywhere. Also beautiful song birds. The Wailea location was very nice, if you don't mind getting in the car to get to the beach (we didn't). The garbage disposal didn't work when we first arrived, but I can't blame the condo owners really. If the last renters broke the garbage disposal and didn't report it, it's hard for the owners to know. When we called to report it, the had someone out in a couple of hours to fix it. Nice bonuses for us were the boggie boards, beach towels, beach mats and umbrella all left behind. Not sure whether to thank the owners, or the previous tenants, but we liked it (and left behind a cooler for the next renters to use).

やはり想像していた様に、チェックインの場所が分からなくて、違う会社にはいってしまいした。グランドチャンピョン、マウイ＆コンドとグランドチャンピョンとはフロントが違っていて、なんだかとても迷惑をかけた様に思います。やはり初めてのフロントの無いコンドのチェックインは、会社によって違うので、チェックインの場所くらいは明記してもらわないと、初めての人は分からないと思います。鍵のコード番号を言われても、何だろう？？と思いました。マウイでは英語が話せないと不便です。せめてチェックインは誰でも出来る様に、住所と電話だけでな丁寧に案内してください！部屋も、タオルは雑巾以下のひどいものでした。掃除は無しで６日間シーツも交換無し、初めに明記したあったか？見落とした私が悪いのか？常識で考えても３日に一度くらいは掃除に来て当たり前だと思います。安さに捕われて、サービスの悪さに今回は本当に後悔しています。部屋の周りは全て駐車場で、窓の外は人から丸見えで、以前行ったロケーションと全く違っていたので残念でした。どんなロケーションか、ホテルの設備など、もっと詳しく明記してください。おまけにドライヤーも壊れていて、どこに連絡して良いのかもわからないままで、ワイレアの６日間は終わりました。本当に残念でした。

Nice quiet condo.

This hotel is located in a beautiful and quiet area of Wailea, next to a tennis club and within walking distance of The Shops at Wailea (upscale shopping mall). It is not in the center of "tourist action" but instead is a nice quiet place to come "home" to after a busy day sight seeing or at the beach. A short drive away are the lava fields where the last volcanic eruption flowed into the sea about 400 years ago (great place for pictures). In the other direction is the town of Kihei, filled with tourist shops and lined with beautiful beaches. The grounds of Wailea Grand Champions are very well kept with luscious gardens. The pool and hot tub are not enormous, but they were never crowded. There are two well kept gas barbeque grills in the pool area. The condo itself will probably vary considerably depending on the unit and how much the owner put into it. We stayed in unit 33 on the lower level of a three story building. It was a little musty smelling when we arrived. It didn't seem damp so it could have been the odor of some of the rattan/wicker furniture. There is no central air conditioning. The windows of the bedrooms have air conditioners in them. They were sufficient to keep the entire apartment cool. One of our air conditioners was stuck on full cold all the time. The kitchen was not luxurious but had plenty of plates/pans/utensils, etc. Eating out in Maui can be very expensive. Groceries are expensive, too, but you can save $100s cooking yourself.

Maui Grand Champions Condo

The folks representing Hotels.com and the Maui Grand Champions could not have been nicer. I only wish the facility lived up to their customer service - the condo was a bit dated, which is fine. The problems i experienced included: dryer was full of towel and other random clothes (not mine), the parking was a hassle due to the need for a permit (which i was not provided) and the bed was very old and uncomfortable.

Clean unit, very nicely furnished unit 121

The Condos here don't have a centralized owner, so each unit's conditions may vary. Unit 121 was very nicely furnished, clean, comfortable, and have all of the amenities of home. We enjoyed our stay here very much, and would prefer this over any hotel room. Highly recommended.

will stay at grand champions again, loved it!

we had a little trouble with our directions to the condo, but once we got there it was so inviting the grounds were beautiful, green and flowers everywhere, the buildings were so attractive, parking was easy, right in front of our condo. two beautiful pools, all we could want. the condo was nicely furnished, two beautiful lanais and good views. all the things we needed for our 8 day stay, lots of extras too. boogie board, beach matts, umbrella.we would stay here again, hope its soon!

A Little Piece of Heaven.

Perfect setting for a honeymoon. The condo was clean, kitchen well equipped, bathroom well stocked with towels and the owners even had boogie boards and beach chairs for our use. The beach was a 10 minute walk away and there was a classy shopping mall a 5 minute walk away. Pool was small and at times got very noisy even though it was supposed to be a quiet area. There was another pool specifically for children.

I loved the Grand Champions, the place was clean, I had a full kitchen, the shower was so big, the view was beautiful! We will be going back next year and staying there. Thank you for such a great place to stay!

Located at a great spot on the island of Maui - makes all parts of the island pretty well accessible. lots of nearby stores and restaurants, either upscale or down to earth, your choice. Comfortable, sizeable one bedroom apartment, nicely furnished. Good kitchen amenities. Tennis and golf readily available.

Great place to stay!

We were very pleased with the unit. The place was exactly what we expected. The views are great. The Lanai was great; quiet, and overlooking the golf course with a view of the Ocean and islands. The only negative was the lack of an air conditioner in the bedroom. This forced us to use the living room AC at its Max setting, and use a fan to bring the cool air into the bedroom. The use of electricity would have been reduced as well with a bedroom AC unit. A small inconvenience for the overall good experience.
