"This looks a grand hotel, the arrival departure whilst busy was fine, staff throughout are very friendly and polite. Breakfast was plentiful, restaurants fine one night I dined in. Service is great, loved spa treatments so much, would love to give it 5 stars for the staff and service but it’s still seemingly going through an upgrade. It just feels a bit dated in parts, marks and lumps missing on walls, old decor etc."

"The hotel is solid, well-located and a bit ordinary. Breakfast is a bit meh. BUT - we were travelling with a wheelchair and the place is wonderfully accessible and the hotel staff super helpful. The accessible room was excellent. As some reviewers have noted, a large powerchair might have trouble with the elevator, but even so i think you could make it ;) we had a small powerchair and it was no trouble. All in all a lovely stay - if I were alone I'd still probably pick a quirkier hotel, but for...

"The good: Location, location, location: close to Victoria train station, major attractions, shopping, restaurants, and Chinatown. Decent breakfast a definite plus. Clean. The not so good: Tight Bathroom even for one person, forget two people in there. Very weak shower water pressure made bathing a challenge. Fairly hard mattress. No room service. No ice machine Narrow corridors with cleaning carts making walking single file."
