They must change the carpets because it was really dirty & full stains you require a bigger fans as the small fans are not useful, I was hoping that I would go to a hotel with Air condition & I was given a room on the 3rd floor & it was difficult to go up & down as I have arthritis on my left leg. "We spent two nights at West Beach Hotel Brighton in July! The location of the hotel is great as it is right across from the beach and easily walkable to many locations within the city. The room was clean, tidy, and quite spacious. We appreciated the friendly staff who helped to ensure we had the best of the available "Standard Rooms" when we checked in. The room had a good view of the beach, and with the windows open we are able to get a cooling breeze. The street noise was at times quite loud...

"We arrived at 6:30pm and were told there was not a room for us. The staff were unable to help and unwilling to provide more information on who owns the hotel. I strongly suspect the hotel does not comply with heath and safety rules. We received a refund from Expedia, but I would not have any confidence in receiving a refund directly from the hotel. Stay away."

"It's a great location. Quiet, but near the shops and seafront. Very helpful staff and a comfortable room. Not a big room, but what you'd expect for a period property like this. The place itself is very stylish and well decorated."

"My wife and I had a wonderful stay. The apartment was clean, comfortable and very conveniently located. The only tiny, tiny complaint I can make is that the bed was really firm. However, I would stay there again. Everything else was great."
