The location was great at the seafront, close to Brighton Railway Station and Highways. Although my room was fully paid in advance and I submitted the receipt, the Receptionist asked to pay for the room. I asked her to double check and by the help of another Receptionist things became okay. Probably she was not trained properly. Another incident happened on the second day - the ceiling at the entrance of the room leaked heavily. I informed, but was not given another room or any refund.
Breakfast was basic, just typical English Breakfast. I also tried other restaurants of the hotel and I wished there were more food choices. The Lift was rattling.There was no Concierge service or help with Taxi, booking tours, etc. I stayed in other Holiday Inn hotels with great services. I hope some renovations will be done including better guest services in future.
