"Great free amenities available at the front desk. All staff were friendly and welcoming. The blockout blinds were incredible! We slept in one day as it was so dark and quiet, shocked when we opened the blinds! Great walking distance from a lot of attractions. Note we did not use the restaurant at all so can not comment on that."

"Best place for solo female traveller to stay if u wanna go around gion-uji-biwa area. It’s located infront of main road and it’s easy to spot the hotel. It’s also easy to bring your luggage from sanjo station. The room space is spacious and i really wanted to extend my stay for one day but i have other plans."

"Our favorite hotel that we've stayed at in Japan! At this point in our trip, we were used to the smaller room and we made it work with our 2 personal items (backpacks), 2 carry ons, and 2 check in luggages. The front desk staff was very helpful, washing machines were free (there is no dryer but the bathroom becomes a dryer with the features they have), less than 10 min walks to Nijo Station, the bus stop, Family Mart, and the local shopping street down the block (great taiyaki, yakiniku, and tea...
