There are no gym facilities but the private onsen is a wonderful way to end your day after touring the surroundings of Hakone. The care and attention from the staff was top notch! "The staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. The hotel is beautiful. Our private onsen was something out of a movie. And it’s a superb place for kids — many fun little treats everywhere. Very much recommend. However, if your kid is an adventurous eater, make sure they do not serve them the kids meal Kaiseki. It is definitely subpar fast food level. Pre-order the adult version because you can’t change on the spot."

"Stayed here for the one night and it was a gem, literally a few steps from the train station. Clean and comfortable room and loved having a curtain for more privacy. The staff was very helpful and wonderful with their service, the facilities were very clean and the onsite onsen was the highlight of the night you can unwind and just relax.
