"Super quiet location, rooms were beautifully done and recently refurbished. Very much liked the underfloor heating in the bathroom and super comfy bed. The communal area and restaurant were closed when we visited but there is a fab deli, 2 mins up road and linked to wider Castle Ashby estate. Overall a gem of a hotel and ideal for quiet break to relax and refresh. "

"Access worked well via code communicated via email. Room was very clean and well appointed. Bed and bedding was very comfortable. Small bathroom with nice rainfall shower. Location was ideal sitting at the bottom of Steep Hill between shops and historic Lincoln (castle/cathedral). "

We arrived an hour before check in so there was a small fee but the room price was decent so that wasn’t too much of a problem. Room was tidy and clean and the areas around the reception/bar was clean and tidy. We didn’t eat there as we were meeting friends in town. Would definitely stay here again "
