You know what you're going to get from a Holiday Inn, so 5 starts indicate everything I expected was delivered as well as I might have hoped. Friendly, efficient staff, a comfortable room, a very good breakfast. Location great if you want to be on the edge of things, rather than right in the middle.

Very nice hotel, exceptionally good staff. Only problem was it’s quite a distance from the city centre. If you’re up for a trek, you could take the canal path, but not good if you have loads to carry. Would definitely stay there again and now being aware of the location would plan accordingly.

Very clean, staff friendly, had to pay a deposit of £25 on arrival which was refunded day after but I was unaware of at time of booking. Only negative was the water pressure in the shower being abysmal.
