"The place is beautiful, and our room was very good. The biggest issue was that Uber or Bolt does not pick up there. And we had to ask the hotel to call a taxi, which was really expensive (3x Uber). From Edinburgh center, ~£20 Uber and £50 taxi. Or you can go to the nearest train station for ~£15. The other issue was that there is no phone coverage in the hotel and very weak connection outside."

Also I was able to put my bike inside at reception ground level., since it’s a small on street building. The room was functional but the sink had a slight smell which would be good to investigate. "Thanks to the host and their lodge, we had a wonderful time! We had the chance to observe the cows, we really enjoyed it. The room had all the amenities needed, we were able to make ourselves dinner during our stay. That was a plus for us. The parking was accessible and the check in message they sent us had all the necessities to access the propriety. It is a must if you are going to visit that part of Scotland!"
