"Friendly staff, clean rooms and quite comfortable. I would have scored it higher if the thermostat on the radiator was working. The room became uncomfortably warm during the night, and I had to open the window because I couldn’t adjust the radiator"

"Unfortunately the room requested was not available as we had our small dog with us so were allocated a dog friendly room which was fine but it only had a 4’6 bed which really is not expected these days. Following the downgrading of the room by the hotel and being advised that the room requested would be cheaper. The new price unfortunately was not honoured despite numerous requests for a refund so overall not the best experience."

"The carpet in our room had not been vacuumed, there were food crumbs on the floor. We wanted to check in 15 minutes early and were charged 15 pounds. I felt that was a little high of a charge for 15 minutes. "

"The staff are great, so helpful. Perfect location just over the road to the Historic Dockyard. Easy parking behind the property. The room was great, excellent shower, comfortable bed. All very clean. Breakfast was very good, well prepared with good quality ingredients. Would definately stay again. Perfect for a two day visit to the Dockyard."

"We had a wonderful experience at The Mortimer’s Arms. If you are visiting Paultons Park/Peppa Pig World, the location is unbeatable (within walking distance). The hotel is exceptionally dog-friendly. They provided a water bowl, treats, and a toy for our dog, which was such a lovely gesture. "Nice modern stylish room, prompt email replies from staff regarding flexible check ins. Very comfy room. Good breakfast included. Only drawback was when the room next door had their tv on late at night it actually woke me up in my room! But not really much which could be done about that. Also milk missing from tea station in morning but assume that was a simple oversight. "
