"After reading some of the reviews before my trip, I seriously considered canceling my reservation. I’m very glad that I didn’t.

"Nice, clean and cheap excellent location was about 7-10 minutes walk from all the downtown amenities like BC place, Queen Elizabeth Theatre, Vogue, Orpheum, Commodore Ballroom, Robson Street etc. I think it was maybe 5 minute walk from the sky train station. The rooms are small but clean with pretty good air conditioning and surprisingly quiet considering all the night clubs operating on the next step over
My only knock was the coffee at breakfast was a mega dark roast and was not my jam at all."

The walk up to the room was a bit off putting with the carpet but the room (hard wood floors) and shared bathroom were both very well maintained and clean.

The hotel was an old apartment building converted to a hotel.
It was old and tired ..
Don't expect luxury accommodations .. yes,we had a one bedroom suite but it was old & tired & in need of renovation.
AND ..
The street below was full of patio restos with customers screaming & shouting until the early hours!
The good news .. our 1 bedroom suite cost $400 a night for 3 people .. FAR cheaper than other nearby hotels."
