"Bad area , to much noise"

"This is an historic hotel in LA. That's one of the things that made me select it...but once I got there and the awe factor passed, the hotel is showing its age. Is due for an upgrade specially at the rooms. Nothing is really bad, beds are comfortable, room is clean, etc. but I don't think is a 4 star Hotel anymore and definitely not worth the price tag, if you add the mandatory valet parking cost, it adds up quickly."

"Property was very clean and comfortable. Room was spacious and amenities were great. Staff was awesome especially Naomi at front desk check in who made us feel very welcome and informed us of the area. The parking situation is tough as no onsite parking and only one 24 hour garage across the street. The area is pretty sketchy so just be wary of that."

"Excellent! If you want easy access to museums in DTLA. However, i have to say if you call the hotel and want anything - like a receipt, credit for staying, or to just check whether they found something you might have left behind, finding an actual human to talk to might be impossible. Marriott is fine as long as you are on premises - after that its all next to impossible to get assistance. If you do get through, you will have to go through hoops to get what you need because marriott has many many processes."

"Staff was great. The room is tiny. It should be described as a cell. Dimly lit. No real desk. Really just a bed and buffet with a coffee maker. The bathroom is tiny. The room itself is clean. The restaurant quite good. You could not have a video meeting in any comfortable way in the room or work in any reasonable way. They might suggest a common area, which is nice, but noisy. This is a good stop for a solo traveler that doesn’t plan to spend any time at the hotel. One of the elevators was out; one of the guests commented that one of the elevators is always out. For me, this isn’t the right place for business travel. If you need a nice clean bed and friendly staff and good restaurant, then this might work for you."
