"The room size was like a suite and the property is convenient but quiet. The room was worn. The light controls did not work at the door and inconsistently worked next to the bed. At times it took several several minutes to turn lights on/off. Which was frustrating. The mattress was very soft with a large dip in the middle. I asked the staff to flip the mattress half way through our stay, which was slightly helpful. The floor boards were loose throughout the room. Several fixtures in the wall...

"Traveled and stayed for only 2 nights
Got here well before our check in time and the staff was nice enough to keep our luggage for us while we explored
They do have a curfew, you can still get in if you’re out late but takes a second for the porter to hear you
Overall it was perfect, the bus was right down the street and could take us straight to the Royal Mile where shopping began, would of loved to stay longer
Just wish breakfast was served earlier otherwise loved every second"

"Rocpool Reserve is a beautiful boutique hotel in a great location. We stayed in one of the suites with a private hot tub and sauna, and the room itself was spacious with a very nice bathroom. We were especially looking forward to enjoying the hot tub and sauna.
The service was outstanding from start to finish. The front desk staff was warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. The breakfast experience was the best of the four hotels we stayed at during our two-week vacation in Scotland. The...
