"The hotel had the most wonderful location. It was just off the main downtown road and everywhere one wanted to be. It was very clean, staff was very helpful and professional. The restaurant on site was wonderful! The only drawback was there wasn’t any air conditioning in the rooms. The two days we visited we actually could have used it, very warm."

"Das Hotel hat aufgrund seiner Lage und Architektur einen besonderen Flair. Das Zimmer und das Bad waren sehr sauber. Das Angebot in der Speisekarte beschränkte sich auf jeweils vier Menüs aus den Kategorien "Groß" und "Klein". Da es automatisch als Vorspeise Pro Person 2 dicke Scheiben leckeres Brot mit einer sehr leckeren Butter, dif mit Skyr vermischt war, gab, bin ich auch mit der Kategorie "Klein" gut satt geworden. Uns beiden hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich...

"Lovely quaint hotel in a convenient part of Reykjavik. Lots of character and interesting pop design. Rooms and bathrooms are a good size. It does get noisey at night being close to many night clubs and bars but I had prepared with earplugs. Staff are very nice and so is the long-term visiting cat Baktus. We were given an upgraded room that featured a portrait of Bjork outside the door, so A+++"
