"We went to celebrate a special birthday and it was a great choice. Breathtaking views from the room and the property were amazing and although it is walkable to the touristic Oia- if you are able to walk a half mile uphill- it is not right in the midst of the chaos there. "Sofitel is directly across from the Athens airport. The staff secured a cart for me to transport my luggage from the hotel. It was literally less than 10 minutes door to the airline check in counter. I found the restaurant expensive compared to the various restaurants I dined in during my 5 weeks in Greece. "This hotel was perfect ! The room I booked was the city view. And man it was gorgeous. It looked cave like. When we opened our door it was access to the pool , felt like it was our personal one. The rooms are super clean , workers are extremely nice. Breakfast is great. 8am -11am which I think is very accommodating for sleepers lol. If you have a later flight they will hold your luggage for you and you can still roam around. This hotel is a 20 min walk to all the restaurants, clubs shopping...
