"I got a private room to myself and it was really big and spacious, especially with the bathroom. However, the water from the shower goes everywhere and doesn’t drain well. If you leave it overnight it mostly does. I liked the retro arcades available and is within walking distance of plaka and pysri which are the main hubs. There is a bbq place opposite which is cheap and good food if you need something to eat. They came to clean the rooms but not sure what they did as the towels were not...

"Acropolis View Dream Hostel turned out to be a really pleasant surprise and a great base for exploring Athens. The rooms were simple but clean, the shared kitchen and common areas made it easy to chat with other travelers, and the rooftop terrace with the Acropolis in the distance was the highlight of every evening. The neighbourhood felt busy and a bit rough at first, but after a day I appreciated how convenient it was for cheap food and transport, and I ended up really enjoying the atmosphere...

"This hostel was in a great location. Rooms were cleaned daily. The front desk staff were all very kind and helpful. Plenty of WC’s to use. Note, there is a refrigerator available, but no microwave or toaster to heat leftovers. I was under the impression there was a kitchen, but that wasn’t the case."
