"The Drury Plaza went way above our expectations! We had a wonderful time! The staff was all kind and very helpful. The room was clean and all the pool areas as well. Food was great! And you can’t beat the 3 free drinks!!"

"The staff were fine and friendly. Check-in was very slow, but I understand they were busy. There was only one person checking everyone in, which seemed to create a major bottleneck. I can only assume the delay was either because there was only one employee working or because the rooms were not ready for guests. There should definitely be a better system in place to get guests checked in on time, especially during busy periods. We didn’t receive our key until around 5:00 PM, which was frustrating...

"I was really pleased with seeing how historical this building is. The location was nice too. However, the lack of proper AC in the San Antonio heat and the constant water running from the faucet (running, not dripping), indicates there are definitely things to be fixed. The fact my husband and I dreaded coming back up the hotel after a long morning/afternoon of running around because we knew the AC is minimal (to the point where we had to be brought a box fan to keep us merely comfortable) is...

"I noticed the second bed still had not been changed with fresh linen. It might not have been used before, but it still carried someone else's scent. That was quite unpleasant. Hair was also left on the shower wall."

"Hotel was clean and staff was very helpful. Everything we needed was on site. It was very convenient for us to not have to leave the property, especially since we have toddlers. The kids loved the water park! We will definitely be back. =)"

"They did not have our 2 Queen bed reservation, so we had to sleep 3 people in a King bed. They did bring in a roll away bed, which was nice but the a/c didn’t work, 77 degrees the whole time, thankfullly we brought a fan. The tv didn’t work."

"Conveniently on the River walk. But a short walk to main the part of the river walk. We used the Veo skooters to get around. Which most of the time were parked in front of the hotel. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel as it was $22/person. The hotel was clean. But could use some minor upgrades in the rooms. Ours smelt a little musty. We did enjoy our stay."
