"There was a funky smell to the room one night and they offered to bring up air freshener. It cleared by morning. Our tub didn’t feel particularly safe for showers. The tub sloped and there wasn’t much grippy coating left on the bottom for balance on a slippery tub bottom. Breakfast was ok but the ice machine was wicked loud if you sat by it."

"This hotel was basically clean and the staff was courteous. Our room had lots of nice cabinetry. Negatives: 1. Loud air conditioner that would have kept me awake had I not had headphones, 2. The only ice machine was not working, and 3. The soap dispenser in the shower was empty and a used soap bar from last night's guest was left on top of the dispensers."

"Because I had never visited Los Alamos when the booking said the place was located in Downtown I had envisioned a more traditional urban city center and not such a small village. But that's on me. As for the Canyon Inn itself it was centrally located, clean and relatively quiet. I also wasn't quite expecting the room to be a extra room in someone's residence but it was spacious and more comfortable than I thought it would be. The owners were friendly but not intrusive. Probably worth...
