"Good mountain access"

"This is an old fashioned drive up to the door motel with a gravel parking lot. There was no AC but none was needed in the mountains, even in August. It is minutes away from the Cumbres & Toltec train station. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable."

"My husband and I have stayed at the Alpine Lodge a few times now, and that’s because we always have a very nice stay. The staff is very kind and helpful, the rooms are not the newest, but that doesn’t usually impress me anyway. They are clean, and that’s important to me! I will definitely continue to bring my family to this lodge. "

"I came to Ruidoso for a break from the business and chaos of life. These cabins are a favorite for me to stay in. They are close to town, but set back enough to just sit and relax on the front porch watching wildlife if that's what you want to do. Clean, good size, and I'll be back again."

"Ours was a last minute stay late at night. We were given quick and detailed instructions on how to gain access to our unit, plus it was easy to find. Only 1 1/2 mikes miles from the ski resort. Our room was very spacious and very clean. The bed and linens were super comfortable. The only con was a lack of water pressure in the shower, so it just took a little longer to get the conditioner out of my hair, lol. We would definitely stay again when in the area."
