"We loved this hotel for our honeymoon! The pools and beach setups are amazing- very good service from setting up chairs and serving food/drinks. The lobby bars and casino are fun at night, it’s very lively on the weekend! We ate at the beach club and Cana and really enjoyed everything we had. I agree with other reviewers that the rooms could use an update. The hotel also touts its eco friendliness but doesn’t have anywhere collecting compostable material (so they just go to the regular garbage)....

"Just returned from a 7 day stay and could not have been happier. Resort is beautiful and very well maintained. Beach and three pools are gorgeous. Dinner at Ruinas Del Mar was excellent. Breakfast buffet was delicious. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and immaculate. Be sure to reserve your palapa four months in advance, as we did, if you want front row views; it’s well worth it. We also rented a Trankilo one day at the adults-only pool...
