We stayed from 3/26 - 3/29 in rm 303. We normally stay at the other Best Western Plus in town but decided to try this one out.
We were pretty disappointed with this location when it came to cleanliness, the plank flooring was very dirty, it's a light brown colored floor, so it seemed clean at first. IMO I think that house keepers skip mopping most of the time since the dirt isn't visible, the floor was extremely dirty, made my feet black. I used a wet piece of tissue paper and a disinfectant wipe and cleaned a section to see how dirty.
The next morning I went to the office and expressed my concern, I showed who I assumed was a manager the dirty paper that I used on the floor and requested that housekeeping mop our room while we were out, we returned later, and honestly I'm not even sure if it was done, still dirty when I retested.
The room needed painting in spots and baseboards were filthy and also needed painting. The coffee condiment tray wasn't clean.
On Saturday, after not getting out on time to get our room cleaned on Friday, we made sure to get out earlier, as a matter of fact the housekeeper was right next door when we left our room, the cart was right outside our door, we returned during the afternoon and found that our room had not been cleaned. We ran out of hand soap and also towels.
I have nothing bad to say about the employees that I had contact with,they were very nice and the breakfast was pretty good, they cooked omelets on Saturday and Sunday.
