"Incredible property. Perfect for larger groups (mine had 6). You get the whole building to yourself and it’s separated by bathroom (which has a private Onsen), bed rooms, and living room. There were some minor issues but the host was very communicative and quick to fix such as a toilet not flushing or soap dispensers being empty. Overall fantastic stay"

"We stayed at Kaya Villa in April 2015. Kaya Villa is a stand-alone cottage in Miyama village about 30 km northwest of Kyoto. Property manager picked us up at the local train station (Sonobe) and, at our request, stopped by the supermarket on the way there because we wanted to cook our own meals (there's no room service or restaurant in the village!). "Property is nice and close to many attractions. There is also transportation (JR line) close by. Lots of food options and small shops. Close to Starbucks. Aquarium and railway museum just around the corner. 7-11 is just right beside hotel. Currency exchange machine at 7-11 as well. "
