During our stay we killed three bugs, one in the shower, one in the sink and one crawling across the bed sheets. There was no sink drain plug and there was gum in the sink. The toilet barely flushed. There were stains on the walls and baseboards. The electrical outlets did not have covers and so the outlet wiring was exposed and we could not use the outlets. The floor had dust throughout as if it had not been cleaned for a while. We arrived late and were too tired to address the situation upon our findings throughout the night at the room. We only stayed one night and would never stay at another La Quinta hotel ever again. We will not comment anything other than the staff was at the desk when we showed up to give us a room. The pictures on the website for advertising are nothing to what we experienced. We had a room next to a major highway and could hear the cars throughout the night. It was the worst overnight stay we have ever had at a hotel. I would consider this a motel versus a hotel.

The pictures of the property distinctly do not represent the condition of the room. We were given one room and found three walls paint peeling off of large sections and mold. Bathtub had hair in it. Rust marks, and scratches as to the toilet bowl. The second room, not as bad, but closet rack was on the floor and towel. Rack fell when I attempted to take the towel off of it. Size and quality of the towels were small, abrasive and non-absorbent. Lastly, the hotel is right next to the freeway so unless you are a super deep sleeper, forget it.

We stayed 2 nights but had to change 3 different rooms. The first room had a broken door latch, dripping bathroom and only 1 towel. The second room was unfinished, no TV, dead cockroach and dirty floor. The third room was a little better, but still had dirty floors, old towels and barely running shower. Parking was good though.

No ,front desk guy was roud and therwing the DL and cc to me ,very unprofessional. I hand it to him .them after she finished with my card and DL. Her throw. . It was a fight between the couple next door . Very disappointed .my wife was scared.

The room was cleaned normally how you’d expect at first glance like beds were made, there were toiletries out included with some towels. But when you looked closer the walls were filthy and what looked like chipping as well. The room we stayed in(244) had the bathtub stained with black dye of some kind, the front door was really dirty, near the door on the bottom corner of the walls was chucks of it coming off, on the back wall there was some stain of what looked like dried blood, the windows frame was completely dented down the middle leaving it open which I feel like made the already loud noise of the freeway even louder, we even found a cockroach crawling on the night stand which freaked us out, the breakfast wasn’t much of a breakfast all they had were waffles and a couple muffins. Perhaps all this was my fault due to not doing enough research on the place and for trying to quickly book something for a short trip but at the same time the pictures did feel misleading. We only stayed there for one night so we didn’t deal with that for too long but it’s not like we were completely confortable either. Overall the staff seemed nice.

Live and dead cockroaches are present.
AC is not cooling even set at 60F.
Stain and hole in bedsheets.
Bed side lamp is not working.
The room have musty smell.

The worst La Quinta we’ve stayed.
The front desk staff is not as friendly and welcoming compared to other La Quinta inns.

Bedding: The bed was made in a very sloppy manner, the sheet had not been changed, visible food stains on the left top corner of the linen. Black hairs found on the pillow upon arrival. Top bedsheet was noticeably ripped.
Left desk lamp: Yellow stain on the wood paneling.
Bathroom: Counter also had hair on it, bathtub sliding door tracks frame were quite dirty.
Floor: Visible black marks on the bathroom floor and leftover plastic debris inside the right cabinet.
Missing Amenities: The room lacked a hair dryer and the television had no available channels, both of which added significant inconvenience to my stay.
I have photos of these issues for your records. Given the lack of cleanliness and the damaged bedding, I am requesting a partial refund for this stay. I believe this is a fair resolution considering the room was not properly prepared for a guest.
I look forward to your prompt response regarding this matter.

Awful. Rundown, dirty. The first room they sent us to was not ready yet, but you could see how dirty the mattress was. The property feels partially abandoned. They put us in a second room that was right by the pool. It was cleaner, but betting worn out with holes. Slept with the bathroom light on. We were supposed to stay for three nights. On the afternoon of the first day, we told them we wanted to cancel the next two nights. So we could stay somewhere else. Still trying to get our refund. (the person at the front desk said it would be no problem, but then when we checked out
They said we had to call Expedia to cancel. And Expedia had to call the manager. So far the manager has been unresponsive. But still trying to get my refund.)

This was possibly one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. I get it, you get what you pay for and things happen but this was too much. I got to my room and just wanted to nap after a 10 hour work day. I went to lay down and turn the TV only for the TV to not work. I thought Ok I will call the front desk, I grab the phone to dial and the phone is not connected/not working. As I reach for my Cell Phone to call the hotel someone tries to enter my room (I believe it was housekeeping but not sure why since I was already checked in and my room was "clean"). When this person attempted to enter my room the deadbolt was latched and the force from them trying to enter and me trying to keep them out the latch got stuck and I was locked in my room. Maintenance arrived within about 20 minutes, unfortunatetly I do not speak Spanish and was unable to communicate to the maintenance team what was going on. After nearly 2 hours the door was opened and the deadbolt latch repaired/replaced. They attempted to fix my TV bringing cables and what not but finally determined they needed to change the TV. At this point I was exhausted and asked them to just leave the TV alone so I could get some sleep. The front desk never reached out to me to check in, apologize or make any apologies or offer to swap rooms anything. I will not returning to this hotel. Also the floors were filthy and the bathroom was in bad shape, so bad I didn't even shower this morning.
