The property itself is superb. Unfortunately, it is located in a neighborhood where we did not feel comfortable walking around. We were in LA as tourists rather than business travelers working downtown. Be aware that none of the popular city tours pick up or drop off customers in this area.

I would say that only the entrance and the walkways are the only areas with nice views, the rooms are very basic and old. I get it it’s suppose to be an older vibe hotel, but they can make some vintage beautiful rooms, those rooms are super basic.

My family and i really enjoyed staying here. My only complaint was the blinds in the bathroom needs to be replaced because part of it was broken and would not go down all the way. The breakfast was delicious and the staff awesom. Eit was exciting to see a series being filmed there. We will definitely return.
