"peaceful stay at the house of a local dutch lady who was very helpful and pleasent . the room was very basic and all i really needed as i was out most of the day of my 4 day visit . sezane has a lovley little dog called "pomy" which i hope is well xxx kisses from across the sea pomy . the area was fantasic as it was very close to the museum quarter , but you can only get tickets online to the VAN GOGH museum which i missed ill get there next time "

"I stayed here for the second time already. Hotel Fita is located in a beautiful and quiet area close to the best museums and luxury shops. The tram runs right by the hotel so it's also easy to move around the city. Hotel is clean, cozy, and serves a great breakfast! I warmly recommend it."
"Not Luxtury but great for us. Location was perfect and facilities were much better than a small hotel room. It was spacious and quiet. We could come back in the afternoon and relax and enjoy the room and go back out in the evening. The fridge was well stocked with snacks, drinks and sandwiches. We asked for some extra bits and Jasper was happy to oblige. Would recommend to any other couples exploring Amsterdam. "
"Beautiful place to stay. I couldn’t quite get the air conditioning to work as i wanted but the weather was nice so it was bearable. A microwave in the room is not a bad idea. Overall clean, safe, lovely neighborhood to stay."
"Located in a quiet neighbourhood but great access to trams, shops and food. Staff were so friendly and helpful especially Flávio! Rooms are basic but comfortable, facilities are limited but the free tea/coffee/water was a great bonus. We would defo stay here again! "
"We had a great stay and it was mainly due to the location and most of the staff . We could walk to many areas and also well connected to transportation. In general we were welcomed with a friendly smile and very helpful staff. I would normally give 5 stars for service except for the fact that the some of the staff at breakfast from Tuesday till our departure on Friday seemed unhappy and at times. One was even banging the covering for the buffet and coffee station. It’s was very off putting....
"The hotel is very nice and the staff are very friendly and provide excellent service. Always very friendly. The rooms, at least the one we stayed in, was not very huge but was big enough that it was very comfortable. No A/C but that was not an issue even in 1st week of august. Nice breeze through the window and the street is extremely quiet.
Location is perfect. A few minutes walk from all the designer shops, museums and central area, primarily the section with antique shops and art galleries....
