The breakfast was excellent, the rooms were spacious, however, the carpet is a bit dark and old and the bathrooms are spacious, but could use a remodel. Location is excellent, although it is a busy and noisy street.

Dikker & Thijs was wonderful! I had to unexpectedly change my plans due to weather conditions canceling my flights and the staff was very helpful and considerate. Every staff member I interacted with during my stay was lovely and welcoming! The room was very cute and the location simply can’t be beat. You can walk to everything you want to see and if you need to use the tram, there’s one right out front. Despite the tram being so close and it being close to great bars and restaurants, the rooms were very quiet and we had a room facing a canal/street so I was expecting more noise. I can’t wait to go back to Amsterdam and I’ll definitely be staying at Dikker & Thijs again!
