"The staff were great and the hotel is very nice, modern and clean. However the temperature control didn’t seem to be responsive. Also at time of checkout the room went completely black with the blinds closing and lights going out. Extremely uncomfortable feeling, somewhat dehumanizing in our times. Definitely it was very frustrating to be trying to get ready to go out the door and and brush one’s teeth after a bit of a wild night in Amsterdam."

"The external appearance of the hotel does not do it justice. It is perfectly situated right next to the station and even though our room was above the rail tracks there was no noise whatsoever in the room. As a base it was perfect."

"Booked the deluxe room for a 5 night stay. PROS: on the border to central Amsterdam - walkable & near Museum Quarter, <3 min walk to RIJKS! Friendly Staff, Clean Lobby, 5 min walk to Bus 397 - express bus to Schipol Airport Comfy Bed, subpar pillows Strong Flow of Shower head Good AC - just needs some time to cool -bfast avail for a fee - not sure about quality, it was 25euros plus, we opted out CONS: small room (as expected in Amsterdam), good for solo travel, tight squeeze for a couple...

"I'm afraid to say i think we picked up a nasty case of bed bugs from the hotel. I have informed the hotel. Obviously there is no way of proving that they were picked up from there but this was the only place we stayed on our trip. The room was very dusty and I think that's where they like to live. I did not see evidence of the bed bugs but my children have lots of bites. Another thing that really disappointed me about this hotel is that there is no airconditioning, we stayed during a heatwave...

"Very nice boutique hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. If you like exploring local breakfast spots, don't include breakfast when you book. We found some excellent small restaurants only 8 minutes away. You can also choose to eat at the hotel and charge to your room, which we did one morning. Great canal view too!"

"Great hotel, booked it for the zandvoort GP weekend, close to everything and close to train and trams to city center. Room was good size, luckily for us construction on the main Street infront was going on so relatively quiet, but would expect it to get pretty noisy with tram and cars, could ear people talking outside quite easily, so guessing that with a open street could be noisy."
