"The rooms and facilities were kept in good condition. The Hotel I have stayed in many times over 15-20 years from time to time, although a little bit older than the new high end hotels nearby, is still extremely well maintained and the location is excellent ( relatively short walk to) near Gurney Plaza. Will probably stay again in future when visiting."

"Being on a unesco world heritage site, I loved their use of Old colonial furniture and fixtures. Staff were great. Very friendly. Great breakfast. Right in the middle of old town Georgetown. Close to the free CAT shuttle bus. The Red Village market a perfect place for great reasonably priced dinner. Would stay there again"

"Excellent hidden gem of a hotel in the old town. It’s in an old building with wooden floors. The rooms are big and fitted out well. The swimming pool is proportional to the hotel but is good enough to cool off after a sweaty walk round the town. Walking distance from some good restaurants and bars. Helpful staff. There was a mystery bar that played load music till quite late but you get used to it."
