"An amazing stay with beautiful facilities and friendly caring staff. We felt very looked after. Definitely recommend the Rasa wing and the benefits of this, with no children and peace and quiet (for the most part). Afternoon tea was delightful, evening cocktails very morish!! The only downside were the overly attentive gardeners who, armed with leaf blowers would be constantly noisily working throughout the day, it was quite disturbing! Thank goodness for noise cancelling headphones, but really for a five star resort this should not have been required!! Would we go backโ€ฆ.yes we would."

We donโ€™t have to drive all the way up to the multilevel parking . Simply drive your car into the lift and it will bring you to the parking lot . It was an easy and quick parking system . Well done ๐Ÿ‘ Dont worry the Ozo stuff will be there to assist you . Would love to come back again ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜ From. Jim & Jasica"

"This was a beautiful hotel and the bedroom was spotless - as were all the communal areas. The Glasshouse was a lovely place to eat and drink and the staff could not have been more welcoming and friendly. There are roadworks around the property right now but this is not really an issue once youโ€™re inside so donโ€™t let this put you off."

"Spacious comfortable room with decent air conditioning and spotlessly clean. Good and adjustable shower with huge shower room and nice sitting area in the room. Staff were always helpful and friendly, and there good recommendations for dining and spa treatments. Free ice cream available in the pool area and filtered water available to help yourself. A great location for exploring Georgetown. Music from local bars carried at night but generally stopped by 1am latest and didnโ€™t stop us sleeping."

"A beautiful heritage terrace house in a fantastic location in George Town, within walking distance of many attractions. We stayed comfortably for two nights, with three guests each enjoying their own king bed and sharing two well-appointed bathrooms. The furniture, dรฉcor, and amenities were all thoughtfully chosen. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a vintage stay full of old-world charm"

Mclane Boutique Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Well maintained hotel at the heart of GeorgeTown. Excellent location for connectivity to the mainland, via the ferriesโ€™ jetty, very close to historical sites (eg the Khoo Kongsi), local eateries and to the lively night scene. Staff are friendly and helpful (special shout out to Nick and Eline). The night staff during my stay could smile more or just offer a warm greeting. Breakfast menu is fair and could be improved with more items l(eg coffee in a pot) plus tastier cereal and sausages. Room amenities are reasonably complete only ergonomics could be slightly improved (eg more flat space to put stuff, localised electrical plug for the kettle and a movable shower head to prevent water splashing onto the wooden door. However I am very pleased there is an in-room safety box and an air conditioner that could be turned off completely when the room gets too cold. The price is reasonable for a boutique hotel, Overall I enjoyed my stay here and would strongly recommend the hotel to local and international guests."
