"Room smelt of dogs"

"The room and bathroom were very clean, as was the hotel in general. Our only disappointment was the standard of service at breakfast; whilst the food was excellent the service left a bit to be desired and the waitress was thoroughly miserable. She appeared to focus on table cleaning around us rather than being attentive to guests’ needs. Thankfully our breakfast was not contaminated by the cleaning fluid that she was using at an adjacent table."

"We loved our three nights at Ellenborough Park. What a gorgeous property. The room we had was number 40! Looked like a bridal suite!. The food was fabulous and great bar. The spa was excellent. Kevin is a great manager! Max, Charlie, Bernadette and all the other waiters were fabulous! The Sunday lunch was great! We will definitely be back for another visit!"

"Love old pub with plenty of character. Staff very friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Great food, reasonable price. Choice of cooked breakfast or fruits, yoghurts, croissants, toast and juices etc. Lovely room. Everything you need to hand. Definitely stay there again. Would highly recommend. "
